Jesse is October's Student of the Month!

...and I have the bumper sticker to prove it!

It was a nice ceremony and his teacher gave a little speech. She said how she had been waiting for Daddy to come home to name Jesse S.O.M. Which was a relief to him because the poor boy was getting so discouraged that he hadn't been picked...in all of what? 2 prior months? LOL! Anyway, she said a lot of nice things about him and then she told everyone about how much Jesse liked Abraham Lincoln. She said "Jesse knows a lot about Abraham Lincoln. Jesse, why don't you share something with all of us?" Swoosh....and she put the microphone up to my 5 year old's face. Without missing a beat he replied..."Abraham Lincoln was our 16th President". It was amazing! If my teacher had done that to me while in Kinder I would have hid behind my Mom and cried. I am so thankful that he is so confident and secure. What a wonderful way to be able to go through school!

We are so proud of our little man. He is smart and happy and just a great little person. And, I think he's pretty cute, too, but I'm just his Mom.

We Love You, Jesse!

Yay for Jesse!!! You must be really proud. :) I was never blessed with a student of the month, just blessed with monthly phone calls from the teachers. I like your blog and I'm following you now.
