Uh, Oh! We have a Wii...

So, I thought I'd let you all see some snapshots of my children outside. Since I don't think we can ever leave the house again. At least not until the kids have become professional bowlers and I am a Guitar Hero.

If looks could kill... LOL

I guess it could get annoying, having a mother who always has a camera in your face. But, ouch! That hurts! LOL

Stripes...

Some shots of Tay at the park...

Taylor and I met Pa for some photos yesterday. Here are two of my fav's. I was so impressed that she actually smiled - she told me later that her Dad had threatened her before she left the house. Oh well, whatever works!

Night, er Day at the Museum

Pete and I took Jesse to the Jim Henson exhibit at the museum today. Unfortunately, photos were not allowed in the exhibit, only in the kids play area. Ya know, the place where kids, of all ages (31), could play with the puppets and do impersonations.

Baking with Jesse...

Just had to share this page I made of Jesse today. He was so excited to make his part of the Valentine dinner.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I know, I know, it's our Christmas photo - but hey! did you really think I could get another shot of all of us together and (almost) smiling?!?!

Jesse and I are baking our valentine dessert today while the kids are at school and then tonight we will have our family candle-lit dinner. The kids are sooooo excited!

Oh, and my new lens arrives today - so prepare yourselves for many telephoto pics in the days to come. Don't say I didn't warn you!

On our walk yesterday...

Jesse found this pretty flower. And, since my camera seems to have attached itself to me I was lucky enough to get this shot.

True Love Is...

Okay, so it's funny and all - but, totally not true. However, it makes for one heck of a funny photo! LOL

I entered this in a contest called "Love Is _________". All the other entries are mushy and heartfelt and totally not my style. So, here is my tribute to true love - a picture of my husbands underwear. It's amazing he puts up with me... LOL

Jesse's Saturday morning breakfast

So, instead of his usual boring 'ol circle pankcakes I had the bright idea to make Jesse some pancakes shaped like bears. I was so excited, sat them down in front of him............................and he burst into tears. His exact words were "I'm not eating pancakes shaped like a human! I want my circle pancakes!" All with very dramatic crocodile tears, head hanging and arm waving. So, P.J. ate the "human" bears and I made Jesse some boring circle pancakes. Oh well...

School...

Mid-terms came home yesterday. Taylor was so funny - she handed it to me saying she was so ashamed. She had one "B". Funny girl, she know's she'll bring it up by end of quarter. And, Pete and I decided that all of her teachers over the years have copied and pasted their comments in. They all say the EXACT same thing..."Taylor is a great student. She does very well at her work and I am glad to have her in my class." She is just a great girl who loves school. Then there was Mr. P.J. - he embarrassed his sister by getting all "E"'s! (Which are "A"'s for 1st graders!). It was really funny - he was very proud. And his comments from his teacher were awesome! "PJ is such a fun kid. Everything makes him smile, laugh and happy. He does a fantastic job working and helping out when needed." Awesome! Just a perfect description of him. We are so proud of both of them! (This photo is from the first day of school as they waited for the bus, not the best quality - taken with my phone.)

Snow in the Desert

It has been sooooo cold here overnight. This morning we could see snow in the distance on the Superstition Mountains. Jesse presumed that that must be where the polar bears live.
